Tomorrow X Together takes you ‘Over The Moon’ with their 7th mini album

K-pop band Tomorrow X Together [TXT] released their seventh mini-album, The Star Chapter: Sanctuary, today [November 4, 2024]. The six-track album adds a new dimension to the journey of TXT members – Yeonjun, Hueningkai, Soobin [leader], Taehyun, and Beomgyu – from adolescence to embracing adulthood.
With “Over The Moon” as the title track, the members explore the early 2000s R&B sound with their new album. The members are entering adulthood, and it is reflected in the lyrics, which have now become more nuanced and matured, without losing their innocence.
Exploring the theme of love in many forms, TXT opens the new album with the track “Heaven”, which is probably the most pop-sounding track in this chapter. The breathy soft voice of the members blends well with the instrument as the lyrics “You make it, you make it feel like heaven” continue to play on loop in your head. The groovy rhythm of the sound makes it a great opening song.

This is followed by “Over The Moon” where one speaks about envisioning a future with your loved ones. The R&B influence on this track is simply unmissable, especially when the chorus lyrics “Over the moon, over the stars, now all I want is to take you in my arms,” plays with the guitar riff adding the rhythm.
“Danger” is the third track on the album, which also boasts lyrics contributions by Yeonjun, Taehyun and Beomgyu. This is probably one of the most enthralling tracks from the album that speaks about love that is growing deep. If there is one song from the album that truly seems to be influenced by R&B sound, it is “Danger.”
“Danger” seamlessly blends into the fourth song on the album, “Resist (Not Gonna Run Away),” where the members explore the idea of holding love close to them. It is one of those songs that you cannot resist listening to – thanks to the playful use of acoustic guitar as heartfelt lyrics promising oneness.
The fifth song in the album is titled “Forty One Winks”, which stirs away from the tempo of the last few songs and is gentler with expressions of love being made in a more intimate and private setting.
“Higher Than Heaven” concludes this chapter. Taehyun has participated in the writing of this song. This song blends rock and R&B sound for a more playful and high-energy song. The way the members sing “Highâ€æ Higher than Heaven,” in chorus is addictive and will probably live rent-free in your head for some time.
This new album by TXT is truly designed to highlight that the 4th generation group can do anything and when it comes to showcasing adulthood in early 20s, there is no one better than them!
This is TXT’s new chapter after they concluded minisode: 3.
